One duo, two directions: Friso keeps Adana Twins alive as Ben Evers steps out on his own.

Adana Twins

The Adana Twins project is entering a new phase. After working together since 2006, Friso and Ben Evers are taking separate paths: Friso will continue the Adana Twins name, while Ben Evers is launching a solo project under his own name.

Over nearly two decades, the duo built a strong identity in the space between house and techno, known for a warm, deep sound that stood out on dancefloors worldwide. Their international breakthrough came with club records like "Everyday" and "Strange", along with a widely played remix of Patrice Bäumel’s "Roar".

Beyond production and DJing, both also played roles as label owners and A&R, helping shape emerging talent and pushing their own imprint in the scene.

They announced the split in a shared Instagram statement, describing it as an evolution of a long collaboration shaped by years of touring, studio work, and friendship.

The name Adana Twins doesn’t disappear — it simply continues in a new form, while Ben Evers steps into a solo chapter.
