CAMELPHAT, Josh Gigante - So Good (feat. Kuuda) Francis Mercier Remix [When Stars Align]

With "So Good", the challenge for Francis Mercier is to give the CamelPhat and Josh Gigante collaboration a different identity without losing its connection to Kuuda. A recognisable name on the remix credit creates expectations, but the real test is whether the song gains something beyond a fresh setting.

Kuuda’s contribution is central to that balance. A remix of a vocal record works best when the voice belongs inside the arrangement, rather than serving as a familiar signpost between drops. Here, the relationship between the song and the dancefloor is what deserves attention.

The question is how much Mercier makes "So Good" his own. Familiarity can get a remix its first play; a distinctive musical idea earns the next one. That is the standard this version needs to meet, regardless of the names attached.
