DIO lands in Hersonissos with a summer programme of international DJs, sunset rituals and beachfront celebrations from June 18 to August 31.

From June 18 to August 31, DIO returns to Hersonissos for its 2026 summer season, bringing a fresh take on beach culture to the Cretan coast.
Set on a private stretch of beachfront overlooking the Cretan Sea, the venue will host names including Afrojack, Double Touch, Space Motion, Joezi, & Friends, Eran Hersh, Maanqi, Freddy Moreira, James Mac, Marasi, Anthony James and Dan Rountree, with more guests expected across the summer.
The programme is built around three weekly formats. DIONYSIA takes over Thursdays from 5pm to 11pm with Afro House, percussion, dancers and a wild, tribal mood. On Sundays, HEDONISM brings a more polished sunset affair, with white, gold and silver dress code, cocktails, dinner and music by the sea. Across Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, SUN.SETS offers free entry from 5pm, pairing electronic selections with drinks, dining and Cretan sunsets.
Created by nightlife figure William Matthews, DIO is more than a club. The venue includes a private beach, open-air event spaces, a Greek seafood taverna, cocktail bars, VIP club Le Cave and four luxury suites.
Inspired by the spirit of Dionysus, DIO carries a simple message at its entrance: "Freedom Lives Here" This summer, that message becomes a full-season invitation to experience Crete through music, sea air and nights that begin as the sun goes down.
