Disco museum to open in Italy's iconic Cocoricò pyramid
Discover the vibrant landscape of Italian disco at the launch of MUDI, the first museum dedicated to the genre in the heart of the legendary Cocoricò club in Riccione. Opening on Sunday, May 19th, MUDI promises an immersive journey into the heart of Italian nightlife culture.
Curated by Alessandro Leoni, MUDI celebrates the legacy of Italian disco with contemporary artworks that explore the sensory essence of clubbing. The permanent exhibition features prominent Italian artists such as Collettivo Cesura and Isabella Nardon, among others.
To celebrate the opening, an eclectic party on Sunday, May 19th, from 6:00 PM to midnight, will feature performances by Filippo Sorcinelli and documentary screenings. Entry to MUDI is free with registration on the Cocoricò website. A tribute to the legendary history of the club, MUDI stands as a shining symbol of Cocoricò's return.
