ALRIUS

ALRIUS is a young artist of Romanian origins, raised and based in Zaragoza, Spain, since childhood. His passion for electronic music began early when he discovered the electro house of that time, a moment that inspired him to create his own music with the goal of delivering intense and therapeutic experiences to listeners. Known for his melodic, progressive, and emotional style, ALRIUS draws inspiration from a wide range of musical genres, experimenting freely to constantly innovate and evolve his sound.

ALRIUS explains that Gloria, released on AFROKHIN in collaboration with SIMEA, was born from a strong personal friendship that began in 2021 in Romania. The track was produced during the summer of 2025 over a three-month period, working remotely through Parsec, which allowed for a natural and fluid creative process despite the distance. As the song evolved, it revealed a powerful, warrior-like energy, inspiring the title Gloria, a Spanish word symbolizing victory. Musically, the track is driven by a tribal groove and organic elements, combined with a gradual melodic and synthesizer-led build-up that creates tension and emotion, blending club energy with cinematic and emotional depth.

While ALRIUS is known for a melodic, progressive, and emotional sound, experimentation plays a key role in their creative approach. By preserving core elements such as melody, atmosphere, and emotion while exploring new rhythms and textures, each project remains authentic yet constantly evolving.

Music is described as a vital and therapeutic force in ALRIUS’s life, deeply rooted in a family background connected to music. Through their work, ALRIUS hopes to transmit positive energy, help listeners heal or feel better, and create a sense of emotional connection and companionship.

Their passion for electronic music began at a very young age, discovering electro house through YouTube around 2009–2010. Early influences include David Guetta, Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Hardwell, Calvin Harris, and Afrojack, with Avicii standing out as the most influential figure due to his emotional depth, creativity, and lasting legacy.

Finally, living between Romania and Spain has strongly shaped ALRIUS’s identity. Growing up immersed in both cultures is seen as a privilege, combining Spain’s multicultural openness with a deep emotional connection to Romanian roots and traditional folk music. Beyond geography, ALRIUS emphasizes a global perspective on electronic music, formed through constant exposure to international sounds, which continues to define their artistic vision today.
