Mochakk launches his new nightclub OBLIQO
Mochakk has announced the opening of his new nightclub, OBLIQO, a versatile and creative space located in his hometown of Sorocaba. With this initiative, the Brazilian artist aims to "give back" to his community and spotlight the local electronic music scene.
OBLIQO’s grand opening is set for tonight, September 6, with a special event celebrating not only the venue’s launch but also the release of Mochakk’s new EP, "Locomotiva Ibiza 2099 - Part II", under the Circoloco label. The 600-capacity club takes its name from the Portuguese word "Oblíquo", meaning "shifted perspective." The venue is equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system from Brazilian company 4VIAS Professional Audio, along with equipment from B&C Speakers, ensuring a top-notch audio experience.
In addition to being a nightclub, OBLIQO will serve as a cultural center dedicated to electronic music, featuring exhibitions on the genre’s history and workshops led by artists and industry professionals.
"I’m finally able to share both of these projects with the world", Mochakk stated. "OBLIQO is not just a club; it’s an innovative hub for the electronic music scene, created to inspire, educate, and connect the local community with a global audience", according to an official statement from the club.
This project marks a significant step for Mochakk, as OBLIQO aims to elevate electronic music culture in Brazil and provide a space for both enthusiasts and professionals to gather and exchange ideas.
