Nico Plagemann launches Post Hope Audio, a label dedicated to authentic, boundary-pushing electronic music.

After more than twenty years shaping the electronic music landscape, Nico Plagemann is turning a new page. The creative force behind Kollektiv Turmstrasse has long crafted a sound that moves between house, techno, and cinematic textures. Now, with his new label Post Hope Audio, Plagemann is carving out a space where music can breathe on its own terms, away from fleeting trends and algorithmic pressure.
Kollektiv Turmstrasse tracks like "Sorry I’m Late", immortalized in Solomun’s sets at Boiler Room in Tulum, show the depth and emotion Plagemann has honed over decades. With Post Hope Audio, he’s not just releasing music—he’s creating a framework where doubt, experimentation, and artistic instinct are part of the process.
The label launches at the end of April with a trilogy of EPs, starting with "Post Hope EP #001", reflecting the same immersive, multi-layered approach Plagemann brings to his live shows—melding sound, visuals, and narrative into one flowing experience. Post Hope Audio isn’t a typical DJ label; it’s a long-game platform for both club-ready tracks and more adventurous, experimental work, with artists keeping full creative control.
In an age where music is measured in clicks and playlists, Plagemann’s vision is a reminder that art thrives when it’s given space to exist on its own terms.
