With the release of "MIDNIGHT MILES" on November 28, NØME has opened a new chapter in their artistic evolution. The electronic duo — born from seventeen years of friendship between a pianist and a composer-producer — has shifted from introspection toward motion, bringing their cinematic pulse fully onto the dancefloor.
From the project’s earliest days, NØME has drawn inspiration from the world of cinema: evocative, immersive music crafted like an imaginary soundtrack. This vision first took shape in 2021 with "UKIYO", their debut EP, which established the foundations of their identity through electronic textures, contemplative atmospheres, and ambient influences.
In 2025, their first album "PHANTOM LIGHT" further expanded this aesthetic, exploring sharper contrasts between shadow and light, tension and release, stillness and movement. It marked a more mature and assertive sound, confirming the duo’s ability to transform emotion and imagery into deeply atmospheric soundscapes.
Now, with "MIDNIGHT MILES" out in the world, NØME has stepped confidently into a more rhythm-driven phase. The EP channels groove and energy without abandoning the emotional depth and visual sensibility that define their work — a nocturnal run where momentum and imagination collide, marking a bold new stage in their creative journey.
