Your sound is described as a blend of progressive house, melodic techno, and deep basslines. How did you develop such a distinctive balance in your music?

My sound developed organically through a focus on emotion, groove, and long-form storytelling rather than strict genre boundaries. Drawing from the patience of progressive house, the emotional depth of melodic techno, and the physical pull of deep basslines, my music is designed to connect both mentally and physically on the dancefloor.

By prioritizing feeling over formula and consisten-cy, I found myself trying to refine a signature balance where melody, tension, and low-end energy move together-creating immersive records that translate seamlessly from intimate listening environments to full-scale club and festival sy-stems.

Your latest release, the "Rising With Stars" EP, is a collaboration with ZERO CONTACT. Can you tell us how this collaboration came about and what the creative process was like working to-gether?

The collaboration with ZERO CONTACT came together organically through a shared vision for atmosphere, emotion, and groove. We worked closely, exchanging ideas and refining details to strike a balance between cinematic melodies and deep, driving low-end. Rising With Stars reflects that natural synergy—two sounds aligning to create an immersive, late-night and sunset experience. Collaborating with ZERO CONTACT always feels effortless: same taste in sound, same instincts, and a process that flows naturally every time.

The music scenes of Windsor and nearby Detroit have clearly influenced your style. How have these roots shaped your approach to production and DJing?

Growing up between Windsor and the influence of Detroit gave me a strong foundation in groove, soul, and authenticity. That environment taught me to respect the craft-whether in the studio or behind the decks-focusing on patience, dynamics, and music that feels honest and timeless rather than driven by trends. That influence shows up in my production through patience and space: evolving arrangements, subtle move-ment, and a focus on feeling rather than formula.

As a DJ, it shaped how I read ro-oms-respecting the journey, trusting minimalism, and understanding that the strongest moments often come from what you don't overdo. Windsor has always had a deep-rooted appreciation for underground music, and that respect for the craft has stayed with me. It taught me to treat both production and DJing as storytelling, not shortcuts.

There's often a strong sense of storytelling in your music, as if each track takes the listener on a journey.

How important is it for you to tell a story through sound, and how do you achieve that technically?

Storytelling is central to how l approach music. I want each track to feel like a journey rather than a loop, with intention behind every transition and moment of tension or release. Technically, that comes from focusing on long-form ar-rangement, subtle evolution in sound design, and controlled dynamics-al-lowing elements to unfold gradually so the listener stays engaged from start to finish. Telling a story through sound is essential to me.

Music has always felt like a conversation rather than a statement, and / want each track to guide the listener through a sequence of emotions instead of delivering everything at once. The journey matters more than any single moment. I approach that by thinking in chapters. Each section of a track serves a purpose-building anticipation, creating space, or offering release.

Technically, it's about movement over time: evolving patterns, gradual changes in rhythm and harmony, and using silence or restraint just as deliberately as impact. Whether I'm producing or DJing, I'm focused on continuity. I want people to feel immer-sed, not interrupted. When the storytelling is right, the track doesn't ask for at-tention—it naturally holds it.

The electronic music industry is constantly evolving both technically and culturally. What challenges and opportunities do you see for an emerging artist like yourself in today's landsca-pe?

The biggest challenge today is cutting through the noise in an oversaturated landscape, where trends move quickly and attention spans are short. The real challenge is maintaining clarity and direction amid constant noise. At the same time, it's also the greatest opportuni-ty-artists have more tools and platforms than ever to build independently, connect globally, and shape their own narrative.

For me, the focus is on longevity: staying disciplined, adaptable, and committed to authenticity with like-minded artists. Artists now have the ability to reach listeners across borders, build independently, and define their path without relying on a single gatekeeper.

This can be challen-ging-navigating parts of the industry where access is sometimes influenced more by relationships, timing, or politics than by artistic merit. This reinforces the importance of building independently, maintaining strong values, and aligning with partners who prioritize creativity, re-spect, and long-term vision.

We often talk about musical inspira-tions, but how much do non-musical aspects-like personal experiences or philosophical views-influence your creative process?

Non-musical influences play a huge role in my creative process. Personal expe-riences, reflection, and philosophy often shape the emotional direction of a track long before any technical decisions are made. Playing and recording in different landscapes has deepened that con-nection-when you place the music within an environment, it changes how you feel and how you create. An extreme life challenge became a turning point for me, and production turned into a form of therapy.

Writing music gave me a way to process emotions I didn't yet have words for, to release tension, and to make sense of what / was moving through. Personal experience and reflection now shape how l approach sound. I'm less interested in forcing ideas and more focused on hone-sty-letting tracks unfold naturally, giving space to emotion, and trusting in-tuition.

That shift has been incredibly healing and grounding, and it's changed how I relate to both the music and myself. At this point, creating isn't just about output or results. It's part of an ongoing healing process, and I think that sincerity is what listeners connect with most.

Whether it's an open skyline, a natural setting, or an intimate space, connecting the sound with the view brings a sense of presence and intention to the music. That relationship between atmosphere and emotion consistently finds its way back into my productions, shaping the mood, pacing, and storytelling of each track.

Looking ahead, what are your artistic goals and which new musical directions are you excited to explore in your upcoming projects?

Looking ahead, my focus is on continued artistic growth and deeper collaboration.

I'm excited to work with more artists who challenge my perspective and push the music into new emotional and sonic spaces. Collaboration has become an important part of how I evolve creatively.

I'm also driven by the experience surrounding the music-playing in different cities, venues, and landscapes to explore how the environment shapes sound and energy. Whether it's an intimate club, a rooftop, or a natural setting, those moments influence where the music is hea-ding.

As part of this ongoing exploration, I'm particularly eager to deepen my connection with the European scene and bring my music to audiences across Europe, where the culture, venues, and listening spaces align closely with the emotional depth of music. The goal is to keep expanding while staying grounded in intention, depth, and authenticity.
