A personal 18-track album from John 00 Fleming, shaped by 40 years of music and a dedication to long-form electronic storytelling.

British electronic music pioneer John 00 Fleming returns with "The Lost Tribe", an 18-track artist album set for release in April via his label JOOF Recordings. The project marks a major milestone, coinciding with 40 years behind the decks.

The album rejects short-form, algorithm-driven production in favour of long, immersive compositions designed for deep listening. Each track is an original, built with extended structures, cinematic development, and a focus on atmosphere and storytelling.

The title reflects a growing community of artists and listeners who feel disconnected from today’s fast, viral-focused electronic music landscape. The album positions itself as a call to rediscover music as a journey rather than instant consumption.

Created over six years, the project was shaped by a period of personal reflection and change, including the artist’s recovery from serious illness. This adds a deeper emotional weight and sense of clarity throughout the record.

Known for marathon performances at festivals such as Tomorrowland and Boom Festival, Fleming continues to champion extended musical storytelling in contrast to modern DJ trends.

"The Lost Tribe" stands as both an artistic statement and a reaffirmation of his long-standing philosophy: electronic music as an immersive, evolving journey.
