A long-awaited five-year return that redefines electroclash by blending vintage sounds with modern electronic influences.

In a surprisingly low-key announcement, DJ Hell revealed his seventh studio album, "Neoclash", set for digital release on December 12 and physical release on January 16. Despite no mention on social media or his official site, early details suggest an ambitious project arriving five years after House Music Box.

The album’s title hints at the artist’s intention to reconnect with the early 2000s electroclash sound while giving it a fresh, contemporary twist. The cover art reflects this concept — featuring DJ Hell’s face dusted with silver powder alongside a younger, retro-futuristic avatar, symbolizing a bridge between past and present electronic culture.

Musically, "Neoclash" blends classic Italo-disco, Detroit techno, indie dance, and 1980s new wave influences into twelve dynamic tracks. Released on International Deejay Gigolos, the label DJ Hell founded in 1996 and known for its influential role in electronic music, the album continues a legacy that includes artists like Jeff Mills, Bryan Ferry, and Vitalic.

The album is available for pre-order now here, with a limited edition double vinyl in red and clear crystal set to accompany the physical release. This long-awaited comeback promises to refresh and reimagine some of electronic music’s most iconic styles.
