"Out Of Heaven" is a track that combines emotional depth with sonic power. How did the collaboration with Mark Hoffen and OBSESH come about, and what was the creative spark behind the song?

Creatively, Mark and I had been working together for years prior to this release. In fact, if my memory serves me correctly, we had already made three records together before this one—none of them finished, except for one (which you’ll see come to light in 2025). So, our friendship and artistic connection were already well-established, and that became our “creative spark,” so to speak.

Mark had mentioned OBSESH and how they were an insanely talented up-and-coming duo, so we decided to let them jump in and take creative rein alongside us in both the production and arrangement. And I’m so glad we did!

Your music features a very personal fusion of euphoria and intensity. How do you manage to balance the melodic side with the raw energy of techno?

To be honest, I’m still working on that. I’ve always DJ’d with intensity—I used to get asked a lot if I was "high" when playing, simply because of the amount of energy I bring on stage. But anyone who knows me knows that couldn’t be further from the truth. I have strict personal rules on this.

As I’ve developed as a melodic artist, the techno side of my style still beats so strongly that I’ve had to listen to it. So my sets are truly a progression between—like you said—euphoria, energy, BPM changes, and an upward journey of genre fusion. I love bringing a crowd up with me… drip-feeding adrenaline, so to speak.

There aren’t many female melodic DJs who fuse between melodic and techno, but I don’t want to stay in just one lane. In-fact, I just want to create my own. Yes, I need balance—otherwise I’ll be seen as predominantly “melodic” or predominantly "techno" —but I never want to compromise the energy I give to a crowd by limiting myself too dramatically.

You're one of the few artists to bring live vocals and an immersive audiovisual experience to your shows. What do you aim to convey to the audience when you step on stage?

Great question! And honestly, this is a project I’m still developing and bringing to life, so I’ll answer as best I can.

The challenge I face while DJing and performing alongside my audiovisual show this coming year is ensuring that I, as the live performer, remain the focus for the audience—not overshadowed or distracted by the accompanying visualsSo, in the tracks where I sing live, I’ll be using visuals that enhance the performance and work around me, rather than distract from it.

It won’t be a visual battle for attention when those vocal moments happen—it will be a beautiful unity of sound and sight.

Your sound has captivated listeners all over the world, going from zero to over a million monthly listeners in just a few months on spotify. What do you think resonated so strongly with the audience, and how important is it for you to maintain an authentic identity in such a competitive music landscape?

My first release "My Gasoline", is what I’ll focus on here, because I think it really connected with every partygoer—from crowds in Germany (our top streaming country), to the United States, all the way to Australia. People just loved repeating the lyrics, as they resonated with them while they were out having fun. The fact that this record currently sits just under 50 million streams, I believe, supports that statement.

The lyrics in "My Gasoline" were cheeky as f*ck and super memorable, instantly grabbing attention. What we talk about in that track—and most won’t deny this—is a big part of music culture today. That’s why I think it resonated so deeply, and had the massive success it did.

As an artist, though, I know it’s important to maintain a balanced reputation, especially when singing or talking about certain topics. That’s why I followed up with "Out of My Mind" with Rebūke—something that’s the polar opposite of "My Gasoline". It’s filled with euphoric, almost operatic layering—and I did that intentionally. I wanted people to know me as more than just an artist who talks about partying.

Even though I can deliver those cheeky, spoken-word-style lyrics effortlessly… I actually come from a choir & predominantly live music background.

You've already performed on some of the world’s biggest stages, from Mysteryland to Epik. Is there a live moment that particularly stands out to you or that marked a turning point in your career?

Yes—but the answer might surprise you. Of course, those big stages and massive shows you mentioned have been unforgettable, and there’s no greater feeling than stepping out to a sold-out arena with 20,000 people.

HOWEVER… my most memorable show to date was to a jaw-dropped, sweat-drenched crowd at 6am at a 300-capacity club back in 2018. The event was the last-ever edition of a party called "Jungle" at a venue called Tramp Bar in Melbourne, Australia—and I’ll tell you why.

During that hour I played, the way the crowd roared when I dropped certain tracks… I’ve never been able to replicate the feeling of again. I’ve never again had that level of control over a room, that ability to generate such euphoria. You can even look it up—it really was one of the most iconic club mornings of Melbourne’s local music scene within the past 15 years.

The reason this moment stands out is because with larger crowds, you just don’t have that same connection. You’re a bit disconnected from the people due to your positioning. It’s not as intimate. Not as close. Not as personal.

That morning for me, and the feeling I was able to hand-deliver to each & every person in that room as a DJ… I’ll never forget! <3
