Born in the south of France, Teho has become one of the leading voices of the French melodic electronic scene, developing a signature sound that blends powerful electronic textures, emotional melodies and cinematic influences.

Supported early on by artists such as NTO and Stephan Bodzin, who released his music internationally, Teho has built a unique path through his own label Labo T. and acclaimed albums including Polytone, Infinity and Shifting. His immersive live performances, including his iconic Cercle session at Glacier 3000, have established him as a distinctive figure on the global stage.

In recent years, Teho has continued to expand his artistic universe through collaborations with This Never Happened and the innovative live project PACT, created alongside Joachim Pastor and Joris Delacroix. Always exploring the connection between emotion, technology and human experience, he continues to redefine the boundaries of melodic electronic music.

In this interview, French producer and DJ Teho opens up about the personal story behind "Fireline / Ashes", a release inspired by the wildfires that came dangerously close to his home last summer. Rather than documenting the disaster itself, he chose to channel the emotional weight of the experience into music, capturing the fear, uncertainty and sense of vulnerability that linger long after the flames are gone.

The two tracks reflect different stages of the same journey. "Fireline" builds an atmosphere of mounting pressure, mirroring the feeling of an unavoidable threat drawing nearer, while Ashes shifts into a quieter, more introspective space, portraying the emptiness and silence left in the aftermath.

Teho also reflects on how the experience reshaped his perspective on the role of music. For him, music cannot solve environmental issues, but it can spark an emotional response, encourage conversation and remind listeners of how fragile the natural world really is.

That belief led him to donate all proceeds from the release to the French National Forest Office (ONF), supporting the protection and restoration of forests. He sees the project as more than a record: it is a way of giving something back to the landscapes that inspired it, while encouraging greater awareness of the consequences that even a single act of negligence can have.

Looking back, Teho describes "Fireline / Ashes" as one of the most personal works of his career. While it remains true to his signature blend of melodic techno and organic textures, the release stands apart for its emotional honesty, turning a deeply personal memory into a work that invites both reflection and action.
