Belgian producer and composer Olvo returns with "Continuum", a new album that intertwines electronic and acoustic textures to capture the beauty and vulnerability of the natural world. Out October 10, 2025 on Low Kick Records, the record confirms the artist’s refined touch and emotional depth.

The idea for "Continuum" emerged during a solo bike ride — a moment of introspection that inspired Olvo to imagine a fictional soundtrack for an environmental documentary. From that spark grew a poetic and contemplative work, blending field recordings and studio experimentation into an ecological fable.

Each track draws inspiration from an animal or plant species, forming a kind of sonic atlas of nature. This concept extends to the album artwork, created by Namur-based artist Demos from the Drash collective. Through a subtle mix of organic and synthetic sounds, Olvo explores the delicate balance between humanity and the environment.

Though it features no vocal guests, "Continuum" gathers a rich ensemble of instrumental collaborators: Damien Chierici on violin, Eugénie Defraigne on cello, Canadian guitarist Simon Jutras, and Emeline Burnotte on backing vocals, among others. The result is a work deceptively simple on the surface, yet born from extensive research — a patient weaving of field and studio recordings, intuition and precision.

With "Continuum", Olvo offers more than an album: it’s an invitation to listen differently, to reconnect with the living world. Every tone, every texture becomes an act of attention — a quiet tribute to the fragile continuum that binds us to nature.

You can buy and listen to "Continuum" here.
