Your music has a very strong connection with the audience. How do you maintain this authentic feeling with people during your live sets?

For me, the connection begins long before! enter the stage. I prepare every set with the intention to create a shared experience. Once I start playing, I let myself be guided by the room and by the emotion of the people in front of me. I pay attention to the subtle changes in their energy and respond in real time. When the music and the crowd move together, a very honest exchange happens. This is the moment where authenticity becomes real and not just a con-cept. What also makes my sets unique is that I play a lot of my own tracks and exclusive live edits. People in the crowd often expect exactly that; they know they'll hear something personal and tailored to the moment. That gives the set an extra layer of authenticity and makes the connection even more special.

The journey from a local residency to international stages is demanding. What have been the biggest challenges you have had to overcome along the way?

In the beginning, the biggest challenge was to believe in myself and in my vision. I built everything step by step and often without a clear roadmap. Later, the challenge became balance, since / was running my labels Deep Woods and Deep Woods Vision while touring more and more. The international shows and especially my headline US Tour in 2025 taught me a lot about endurance, focus, and self-care. Every mile on the road shaped the artist I am today, and every challenge made the journey feel eamed.

What does authenticity mean to you in today's electronic music world?

Authenticity, for me, begins with honesty toward myself and toward the people who share these moments with me. In a fast-moving digital world, it is easy to be influenced by numbers or trends, but none of that matters once you are truly inside the music.

Electronic music lives from emotion and from the connection between everyone in the room. When I create or perform, / want the energy to come from a real place inside me. Authenticity also means celebrating the beauty of a shared experience. There is something very special that happens when a crowd and a DJ feel the same pulse and drift away together on the dan-cefloor.

Time slows down, and everything becomes lighter. These precious moments cannot be forced and they cannot be faked. They grow naturally when the music is honest and when everyone in the room feels safe to let go. This is the core of why I do what I do. My goal is always to create a space where people can breathe, feel, and enjoy the moment in its purest form. When I stay true to my roots, to my emotions, and to the community that has grown around my music, the connection becomes effortless. That, for me, is authenticity in today's electronic world.

How do you balance life on tour with the creative work in the studio?

Touring gives me countless impressions that later flow into my creative work in the studio. I often collect ideas while traveling and write down atmospheres, fee-lings, or melodies that come to me in unexpected moments. My studio at home is the place where everything becomes calmer and more focused and where these impressions can grow into something meaningful. I do not aim for a perfect balance because touring and studio work nourish each other in a very natural way.

Touring brings life and movement into my music, and the studio gives form to the emotions that the road creates. A very important part of this balance is my background as a former competitive athlete. Sport has always shaped my mindset and my body awareness. Pilates, Yoga, and endurance activities such as running nelp me stay grounded, clear, and centered, especially when the schedule becomes intense. These moments of physical focus are essential for me because they create a sense of stability that / can return to no matter how full the tour calendar becomes.

Even during touring, I look for small pockets of time to move, breathe, and reconnect with myself. A morning run in a new city, a stretching session in the hotel room, or a quiet Pilates or yoga practice before soundcheck can change the entire energy of the day. These routines help me stay healthy and centered, and they allow me to give my very best on stage and in the studio. Music and movement belong together for me, and both keep me balanced and inspired. I also worked this out emotionally and creatively in my tracks Balance and Happening; both are a reflection of that inner dialogue between energy and stillness.

You have a Spanish cultural background but grew up in Germany. How do these two identities influence your sound or artistic vision?

Both cultures are deeply present in my music. From my Spanish side, I carry a natural warmth, emotional depth, and a love for rhythm and celebration. From Germany, I developed a strong sense of structure and precision and also an early connection to club culture. My sound lives between these two identities. It is melodic and emotional, yet grounded and driving.

This mix gives me a wide emotional range to work with, and I love exploring it. Another important part of my identity is the way I began as a DJ. I started with vinyl, and it was my only medium for many years. Vinyl taught me patience and deep listening, and it gave me a very physical understanding of music. Every record, every touch, every transition had its own character.

This shaped the way I feel sound on a very emotional level. Even today, that foundation influences how I build my sets and how i create music. It is a part of my artistic DNA, and it connects beautifully with the cultural roots that shaped me.

The electronic music scene evolves very quickly. How do you stay updated and what inspires you to innovate your style?

I stay updated by listening with curiosity. I explore new music every week, and l am constantly inspired by what the global scene creates. Touring also plays a very important role since every city has its own character and its own musical heartbeat. Playing in Berlin feels different from performing in Melbourne or New York, and each place leaves a unique emotional signature that flows back into my creative decisions. A big part of my inspiration comes from the exchange with other artists and creative minds from all over the world.

The scene is full of DJs, producers, designers, photographers, visual artists, and many other creators who approach art in completely different ways. Backstage moments, conversations after shows, studio visits, or simply being in a room with people who breathe creativity always give me new impulses. These encounters remind me that electronic music is not only about sound but also about ideas, emotions, and com-munity.

My background as a trained audio and multimedia designer adds another dimension to this pro-cess. I often find inspiration in visual art, color theory, shapes, textures, architecture, or even small details from everyday life. When visual impressions meet musical ideas, something new emerges very naturally. Innovation feels effortless when I stay open and allow all these creative fields to interact with one another. This constant flow of inspiration keeps my style alive and evolving.

Your radio show Deep Woods has a strong fol-lowing. What role does the radio show play for you in building a community of listeners?

My worldwide radio show Deep Woods has become a very important home for my music. It airs every week during prime time on stations such as Sunshine Live in Berlin, Kiss FM in Australia, and SiriusXM in the United States, which means that people from different continents experience the show at the same moment. This creates a shared rhythm that feels very special to me.

A club set is intense and fleeting, but the radio show creates an ongoing connection. It allows me to express different shades of my sound, sometimes deeper and more emotional, sometimes more driving and energe-tic. Listeners often write to me and share how the show has become a weekly ritual for them, which makes me feel incredibly grateful.

Over time, Deep Woods has grown into a global community that feels very close, even though we are spread across the world. It is a place where people come together for music, for emotion, and for a moment of escape in their week. For me, the radio show is a bridge between the dancefloor, the studio, and the people who travel through these musical landscapes with me.

Playing at major international festivals requires a high level of responsibility and energy. How do you maintain focus and transform pressure into a memorable perfor-mance?

I prepare carefully and then let the moment guide me. Before very big shows such as EDC or the Mainstage at Tomorrowland, I definitely feel a strong excitement building inside me. The scale of these events, the atmosphere on the festival grounds, and the awareness that so many people are waiting to share this moment can be overwhelming at first.

Right before / start playing, I take a quiet second to ground myself and remind myself why everyone is there. We all share the same love for music, and that love unites the entire crowd. Once I step onto the stage, the excitement instantly transforms. The nervousness melts away and becomes a focused and positive energy that carries me forward. When the set begins, I am fully present.

I feel the movement of the crowd, the pulse of the sound system, and the emotion in the air. The pressure turns into inspiration, and the energy of the people becomes something powerful that I can use creatively. This helps me to play with confidence and to create performances that stay with me for a very long time.

In recent years, many female artists have been emerging in electronic music. What changes have you noticed in the scene and what message would you give to new gene-rations?

There is more visibility and support for female and non-male artists, and it is beautiful to see how many different voices enrich the scene today. However, there is still work to do, and growth takes time. My message to new generations is to trust their inner voice and not to compare themselves to others. The scene needs diversity and new perspectives. Every artist brings something special to the table, and confidence combined with kindness can open many doors.

Looking ahead, what new horizons or projects would you like to explore in the future?

I want to expand the Deep Woods world in an even more meaningful way. The label, the radio show, and the community behind it have grown into something very special for me, and I feel that there is still so much potential waiting to be explored. I am also working on new creative collaborations that bring together sound, visual storytelling, and emotional experiences in a very organic way.

After a very intense global tour schedule in 2025, i feel a strong desire to deepen my musical expression. I want to create projects that offer a richer emotional journey and allow listeners to feel completely immersed. New music is already taking shape, and / am excited to share what is coming next. There will also be many new live moments. Touring will continue to take me around the world, and look forward to reconnecting with audiences from cities that inspire me again and again.

At the same time, i plan to build more personal events in my home region in Germany, where I can create special nights for the local community that has supported me from the very beginning. The future feels open and full of pos-sibilities. I am excited to walk this next chapter step by step together with the people who share this musical journey with me.
