A sunlit rework of Vangelis meets a darker, slow-burning club cut on Madorasindahouse.

Atsou and Marc Gonen link up for the first time on "Let’s Celebrate", a new two-track EP released via Madorasindahouse. Rooted in Afro-leaning grooves and polished house textures, the record moves between daytime warmth and late-night tension without losing its sense of flow.
The opening cut, "Let It Happen", is the EP’s focal point: a bright reinterpretation of a piece by Vangelis, the Oscar-winning Greek composer widely known for 1492: Conquest of Paradise. Rather than treating the original as a museum piece, Atsou and Gonen bring it into a club-facing space, keeping its melodic spirit intact while adding rolling percussion, soft lift and a sunlit house pulse.
On the flip, "Celebrate" takes a darker route. Long chord progressions stretch across the track, while light piano phrases and clipped string accents give it a more suspenseful edge. It feels slower to reveal itself, built for deeper moments rather than instant release.
For Atsou, the EP adds another chapter to his work as a DJ, producer and co-owner of Madorasindahouse Records, a label closely tied to the global Afro house movement. Based in Athens, he has released music on Human By Default, "Cacao" and "Connected", while bringing his sound to stages across Europe, the US and Burning Man.
Istanbul-based Marc Gonen arrives with growing momentum of his own. After gaining attention with "Wrong", supported by the Keinemusik crew, he has continued to build his catalogue through labels such as VOD, Siamese, Sapiens and Madorasindahouse, earning backing from names including Adriatique, Âme, Dixon, DJ Koze and CamelPhat.
With "Let’s Celebrate", the pair offer a concise but carefully shaped release: one side glowing and melodic, the other shadowy and immersive, both tied together by a clear ear for atmosphere and movement.
