"Perun" is your latest release on SVET. Can you walk us through the creative process behind the track and what it means to you personally and artistically?

"Perun" is more than just a track for me, it's a musical reflection of my connection to nature, power, and inner balance. I drew inspiration from "Perun", the Slavic god of thunder, aiming to translate the raw force of nature and the order within chaos into an electronic music context.

The creative process involved blending analog synths and organic textures with digital elements. The track starts with a strong, driving energy and gradually evolves into a more atmospheric and introspective soundscape. That contrast really represents my approach to production: a powerful beginning, an emotional journey, and a closing that leaves a lasting impact.

Your music has been played by iconic artists like Solomun, Âme, and Dixon. How does it feel to have your sound resonate with such influential names in the industry?

It’s an incredible feeling, both humbling and motivating. To know that my sound connects with them enough to be part of their sets is truly rewarding.

It also reinforces my belief in staying true to my artistic vision. I don’t produce music with the expectation that it will be supported by big names, but when it happens organically, it’s a strong sign that authenticity resonates. It inspires me to keep evolving, experimenting, and pushing boundaries while staying grounded in what I love.

Your tracks have a strong emotional and cinematic atmosphere—what is your creative process when starting a new composition?

For me, it all starts with building a world through sound. I usually isolate myself and focus on what emotion or story I want to express. Sometimes it’s a memory, other times it’s a dream or a vague feeling. Music, to me, isn’t just something to be heard , it should be felt. That’s what gives the music its cinematic and emotional weight.

Your style blends Melodic House & Techno and Indie Dance, with powerful basslines and unique sounds. How do you strike the balance between experimentation and accessibility in your production?

Finding the right balance between experimentation and accessibility is a key part of my creative process. I love pushing boundaries by exploring unique sounds and unconventional textures, but I always keep the listener’s journey in mind. Powerful basslines and catchy vocals serve as the foundation to make the music engaging and danceable.

I try to create a bridge between familiar elements and fresh ideas, that way, the tracks feel both exciting and approachable. It’s about taking risks while making sure the energy and emotion connect with the audience, whether they’re on the dancefloor or listening at home.

As a Turkish artist gaining international recognition, how much does your cultural background influence your music and sonic identity?

My Turkish heritage plays a subtle but meaningful role in shaping my music and sonic identity. While my sound is rooted in global electronic music trends, I often draw inspiration from traditional rhythms, scales, and textures that reflect my cultural background.

It’s not always direct or obvious, but these elements add a unique flavor and emotional depth to my productions. I believe blending local influences with modern styles creates a richer, more authentic experience for listeners worldwide. Ultimately, my goal is to connect people through music, and embracing my roots helps me tell a more personal and distinctive story.
