Enrico Sangiuliano releases "Absence" EP on NINETOZERO

The final chapter of NINETOZERO turns sound and silence into a personal journey back to zero.

Italian producer Enrico Sangiuliano closes his conceptual NINETOZERO project with "Absence", the final EP in the series and the symbolic endpoint of a creative countdown designed as a finite cycle. Released on his ephemeral imprint, the project marks the return to zero and the closure of the label.

NINETOZERO is structured around stages of creation, reflection, and transformation, ultimately dissolving into the silence from which it began. Sangiuliano describes it as "a cycle of listening, making, and letting go", shaped by sound, space, and absence.

The centerpiece of the EP is "Step Into The End", a ten-minute techno track combining driving rhythms with orchestral elements, building to a moment where "presence and silence merge". In contrast, the title track "Absence" takes a minimal approach, built on near-silence and subtle studio sounds that focus attention on listening itself.

The EP closes with "The Aftermath", a brief spoken coda marking the end of the cycle. With "Absence", Sangiuliano completes the project, turning the ending into a new starting point.
