Female talent conquers the Sound Waves Festival in Portugal

On July 5th, the beach of Esmoriz will host one of the most special editions of the Sound Waves Festival, celebrating its 20th anniversary with a fully female main stage lineup. Nine artists, from legends to rising stars, will bring the best of global techno and hard techno.
Leading the bill are two queens of the scene: Rebekah and Fatima Hajji. With long-standing careers and explosive sets, they embody strength, passion, and raw talent. Joining them are the future faces of techno: Cloudy, Novah, and Jazzy—three fast-rising names reshaping the genre with bold energy and unique style.
Local and South American talent will also shine with B2B sets from Miss Sheila & Joanna Coelho and Ornella & LUCIID, delivering powerful neo-rave and schranz energy. Closing the lineup is Carlota, vocalist of AEREA, who will offer a more emotional, melodic techno experience.
This edition of Sound Waves is more than a celebration—it's a statement. It highlights the strength and creativity of women in a genre long dominated by men, proving that the future of techno is diverse, fierce, and unstoppable.
