Celebrating 30 years of ADE with the legendary Electronic Music Pioneer.

The Amsterdam Dance Event has revealed Jean-Michel Jarre as the guest of honor for its 2026 edition. The renowned electronic music gathering will celebrate its 30th anniversary from October 21–25 in Amsterdam, with a special program highlighting the evolution of the genre.
As part of the celebrations, Jarre will deliver the official ADE Opening Concert on October 21 at AFAS Live. Presented by MOJO and Insomniac, the show marks the French pioneer’s return to the Netherlands with a specially designed live performance featuring immersive visuals, light architecture, and large-scale projections.
The moment is particularly symbolic as 2026 also marks the 50th anniversary of "Oxygène", Jarre’s groundbreaking 1976 album that played a key role in bringing electronic music to a global audience.
In addition to the concert, Jarre will appear at ADE Pro for an exclusive keynote interview and other activities within the professional program. His participation underscores the connection between the origins of electronic music culture and its future, reflecting a career that has long explored the intersection of sound, technology, and large-scale audiovisual performance.
