EYRIS and Mario Navajo are two artists from the new electronic music scene who come from different backgrounds but share a complementary artistic vision. Mario Navajo, raised in Fulda, Germany, began his career rooted in hip hop and rap, later evolving into a deep, soulful electronic sound blending deep house, afro house, and tech house, driven by hypnotic grooves and expressive vocal elements. EYRIS is a multidisciplinary artist and creative strategist working within a more minimal and conceptual electronic framework, built on raw textures, essential design, and immersive soundscapes that balance club energy with introspective depth. Together, they represent a contemporary approach to electronic music where rhythm, identity, and sonic exploration merge into a unified and evolving artistic language.

"We Rise" carries a powerful and almost spiritual energy what does this track represent

for both of you, and what message do you want listeners to take away from it?

EYRIS:

For me, this track is deeply personal it’s about the soul's journey. I’ve always been drawn

to the idea of rising like the sun, that inevitable transition from darkness into light. It

carries a heavy Sufi influence; it’s about that spiritual elevation and finding a connection

to something higher through sound. We want listeners to feel that "ascent." It’s not just a

track; it’s a moment of waking up.

MARIO NAVAJO:

"We Rise" represents that quiet moment where everything feels heavy, but something

inside you still chooses to move forward. It’s not about fighting loudly it’s about a deeper,

almost spiritual kind of strength. For both of us, the track reflects growth, healing, and the

idea that even in your lowest moments, there’s always a way back into the light. We didn’t

want to force a message we wanted people to feel it.

So whatever someone is going through, the track can meet them there. If there’s one

thing we hope listeners take away, it’s this: you’re not alone in those moments and you

can rise again, in your own way, in your own time.

You come from different yet complementary artistic backgrounds how did you blend your

influences to shape the sound of "We Rise"?

EYRIS:

It was all about finding the balance between the physical and the metaphysical. Mario

brings a great energy, and I wanted to fuse that with my focus on melodic techno and

atmospheric textures. We blended more industrial, club-ready elements with a very avant-

garde, spiritual vibe. It’s that mix of a driving beat and a deep, cinematic soul that makes

the sound unique.

NAVAJO:

ËYRIS brings this deep, atmospheric and textural foundation, while I come from a more

vocal-driven, emotional background. Instead of trying to fit into a specific sound, we

focused on what felt honest in the moment. The track started very minimal just chords

and a mood and from there, we let our influences blend organically. It was never about

layering more, but about leaving space.

That space allowed the emotions, the vocals, and the textures to breathe and connect. In

the end, "We Rise" became a meeting point between our worlds something that feels

both intimate and expansive at the same time.

The track balances club-driven rhythm with a more introspective atmosphere create this

duality how did you work together to create this duality?

EYRIS:

We wanted to create a truest sense of the word. The rhythm keeps you grounded in the

room, but the atmosphere is meant to pull your mind elsewhere. I’m really into that dark

minimalist aesthetic, so we kept the groove sharp and hypnotic. It’s designed so you can

dance to it, but if you close your eyes, it feels like a meditation.

MARIO NAVAJO:

That balance was something we were very intentional about from the beginning. We didn’t

want the track to live only on the dancefloor or only in a reflective space it had to exist in

both. We built the rhythm to be grounding and driving, something that carries you

physically, while everything around it the chords, textures, and vocals — opens up a

more introspective, emotional layer. A big part of that process was knowing when not to

add more. We left space in the arrangement so the energy could move, but also so the

listener has room to feel and interpret. It’s that tension between movement and stillness

that makes the track what it is you can dance to it, but at the same time, it invites you to

go inward.

How did your collaboration come about, and what made you realize you could create

something special together?

EYRIS:

We connected through the music scene and realized we shared a similar vision for where

electronic music could go. When we started working on the first ideas for "We Rise, " the

synergy was instant. There was this shared understanding that we weren't just making a

"hit" we were trying to capture a specific feeling of transcendence. When the melodies

started to feel like they were "rising," we knew we had it.

MARIO NAVAJO:

We connected through music first there was an immediate sense that we were speaking

the same language, even coming from slightly different backgrounds. What started as a

simple exchange of ideas quickly turned into something deeper. There was no pressure or

expectation just a natural flow. From the very first sketches, it felt like the track was

shaping itself, and we were just guiding it. I think what made us realize it could become

something special was how effortlessly everything came together. The atmosphere, the

emotion, the vocals nothing felt forced. It was one of those moments where you don’t

overthink you just feel that there’s something real happening.

During the creative process of "We Rise", was there a defining moment or turning point

that shaped the final direction of the track?

EYRIS:

The turning point was when we stripped back the layers and let the main spiritual motif

take the lead. I remember focusing on the space between the sounds letting the track

breathe so the "sunlight" could get through, so to speak. Once we leaned into that

minimalist, Sufi-inspired energy and stopped over-complicating the production, the track

finally felt alive.

NAVAJO:

There was a moment when everything shifted from being just an idea to something that

felt real. We had the foundation the chords, the groove but it still felt open, like it could

go in many directions.

The turning point came when the vocal idea landed. It instantly gave the track a sense of

purpose and emotion that tied everything together. From that moment on, we stopped

questioning the direction and just followed the feeling. We actually stripped things back

rather than adding more creating space for the emotion to fully come through. That

decision really shaped the final version. It turned “We Rise” into something more than just

a track it became a moment you can step into and feel.
