A deeply atmospheric and slow-building opener that gently introduces the emotional world of Oliver Koletzki’s upcoming album "12".

"Petrichor" is the third single taken from "12", the forthcoming album by Oliver Koletzki, due April 10 on Stil vor Talent. As the opening track of his twelfth studio LP, it offers an immersive introduction to the record’s emotional and sonic landscape.
Built around wistful, slowly unfolding organ chords, "Petrichor" immediately establishes a sense of space and quiet anticipation. The composition develops with restraint, gradually introducing subtle rhythmic motion, warm low-end pressure, and finely detailed melodic textures. Rather than building toward an abrupt peak, Koletzki allows the track to evolve naturally, creating a slow-burning journey that draws the listener in with each progression.
True to its title — referencing the earthy scent that follows rainfall — the track balances melancholy and hope, carrying a cinematic quality that feels equally suited to intimate listening and late-night dance floors.
Following "Trip With Me", created in collaboration with Frida Darko, and "I Don’t Need Your Love", "Petrichor" further highlights the depth and cohesion of "12", shaping up to be one of Oliver Koletzki’s most refined and emotionally resonant works to date.
