OXIA, one of the most influential names in the French electronic scene, returns with his third studio album, "Aelle", released today on Diversions Music. After winning acclaim with singles "Presence" and "Colors of Life", and with "Silk & Fur" coming on September 19, the artist now delivers a twelve-track collection that seamlessly blends club energy with personal introspection.
The album is a sonic journey where grooves, melodies, and emotions intertwine naturally. From rhythm-driven tracks like "Nuance" and "Faces" to the ethereal moments of "Calling The Sun" and "Saisons", and the deep melancholy of "Aerial", OXIA once again proves his ability to create music that works both on the dance floor and in the headphones of attentive listeners.
Key collaborations enrich "Aelle": label co-founder Nicolas Masseyeff joins on "Faces", while Yannick Baudino partners with OXIA on "Silk & Fur" and "On The Trip". Vocal contributions from Hen Wen "Calling The Sun" and Hacène "Silk & Fur" add extra emotional layers to an already nuanced album.
Speaking about the project, OXIA said:
"As with my previous albums, I let my creativity run free, without limits. I wanted to bring together everything I love about electronic music – groove, melodies, emotion, intensity – and blend it with calmer, more reflective tracks".
"Aelle" cements OXIA’s position as one of contemporary electronic music’s most authentic and creative voices, effortlessly alternating between pure energy and delicate introspection, never losing his signature sonic elegance. A record you can dance to, but one that stays with you long after the music stops.
