For those attuned to the shifting currents of underground electronic music, Yulia Niko has become a name synonymous with vision and consistency. With "Body Language Vol. 26", released on Get Physical Music, the DJ and producer delivers a statement of intent as much as an act of refined curation.

Launched in 2005 by the Berlin-based label, the series has featured artists such as Booka Shade, WhoMadeWho, and andhim, establishing itself as one of the most influential mix compilations in house and techno. Each edition is conceived as a narrative journey, and Yulia Niko continues this tradition with a fresh yet respectful perspective.

Across eleven tracks, the compilation unfolds like a story: from the sunlit energy of "So In Love With You" to the darker tones of Bad Habits—a cover of Jenny Burton’s classic co-produced with Alfonso Muchacho—to the hypnotic minimalism of Just Just. At its core lies the unreleased Takina, created with Alexey Union and Kinky Sound, where muscular grooves, melodic shimmer, and touches of ethnic instrumentation merge into a track that commands attention with subtle strength.

Alongside her originals, Yulia steps in as remixer for Helsloot, Calussa & Malone, and Chelonis R. Jones, reshaping their work with a sensitivity that favors groove and emotion over spectacle. It’s a style that mirrors her dual presence across major festivals like Coachella and the intimate underground clubs of Berlin and Ibiza.

More than a collection, "Body Language Vol. 26" is a carefully curated listening experience that highlights the maturity of an artist fully in command of her craft. A work of balance, depth, and emotional resonance, it reaffirms Yulia Niko as one of the essential voices in contemporary electronic music.
