ARVØW is an ambient electronic producer blending atmospheric composition with elements of dance music, crafting tracks that carry a euphoric sense of emotional hope. Following the release of his debut EP "Last Contact" on Be Your Own Studio Label, he has been featured in outlets like Mixmag, DJ Mag, and Chromatic Club, and has performed live alongside Madrid-based producer Nau Leone in Madrid, Valencia, and London. With his latest EP "Remnants", ARVØW reveals a more intimate and passionate side, driven by ambient guitar riffs, expansive pads, and a sound that merges darkness and hope into one emotional journey.

"Remnants" has a very intimate and deep atmosphere — what were the main inspirations behind this EP, both musically and emotionally?

Musically, I found myself stuck listening to Malibu’s ‘palaces of Pity’ and Evian Christ’s ‘Revanchrist’ after seeing them live at Outernet in London. They both produce such cinematic music. I also think the project was inspired by legends like Aphex twin and Skee Mask. I've listened to them for years. Emotionally it was everything that I felt in those periods of isolation. A lot of sadness and loneliness but always that element of hope.

You chose to release the project on Be Your Own Studio Label. What drew you to this label, and how would you describe your creative relationship with them?

They’ve been supporting me for almost 5 years now I think. It was clear for me to release this project with them. The community within the label is incredible. It’s like a musical family.

Living in London, a city so rich in cultures and diverse sounds, how does the environment influence your music production?

I think London really inspired me as I lived with two classically trained musicians from RCM. Watching them and producing with them really taught me a lot. Also the music scene in London is just huge. Any night of the week you can go out and see anything you want. The options are endless. I used to live in Leeds though and I really feel that the breakbeat influence I have in my catalogue is heavily inspired from my time living there. My friend Matt would take me to these crazy Drum n Bass raves. Beaverworks was our favourite venue back then. I absolutely fell in love with jungle and breakcore when going out on these crazy nights. It was a very fun time in my life.

Looking ahead: what are the next steps for ARVØW? Are there any collaborations, live sets, or new musical directions already on your radar?

I think the next steps are to begin working on a club focussed project. I really want to get something suited to the club out there in the world. On top of that I have some cool remixes coming out soon. Hopefully a small EP of guitar based electronic stuff too. I aim to start doing some sets again soon too but I think that will take some more time as I want to build a special performance, something really powerful.

Your sound shows a strong attention to detail and sonic textures. What is your approach to sound design when starting a new track?

I think it is always based around making something beautiful. I always want the sound design to just sound audibly appealing. I also think reverb plays a huge part for me. I want the sound to really feel euphoric. I used to listen to a lot of Yung Lean and Drain Gang. The sound design of the melodies in those productions was just so beautiful. I felt like they took me to a new world.
