Skylin3, you're an active DJ and producer on both the Milanese and international scenes. How would you describe your musical style, and how has it evolved over the years, from house to tech house and pop house?

Over the years, my musical style has gone through many changes in terms of taste, style, and trends. I started with progressive house, then moved on to more extreme house, and now I’ve reached a style that feels truly mine: a very club-oriented but also commercially appealing tech house that can catch the attention of people who may not normally appreciate this genre.

"Mi Ritmo" is your latest single released on SO KOO. What kind of atmosphere or emotions did you want to convey through this track, and what was it like working with this sound?

My latest release, "Mi Ritmo", was a great project because I wanted to bring back that Latin vibe, but in the most club-friendly version possible — energetic and vibrant, designed to get people moving! Working on this track was challenging, but there will be others coming out soon with a similar level of intensity.

You've collaborated with several international artists, such as Adam Clay on "I Like To Move It" for Sony Music Italia. How do these collaborations come about, and what are the most exciting aspects of working with other musicians?

I remember my collaboration with Adam Clay very well! I had already created the track, but the vocals didn’t fully capture the potential of the song. I wanted to create something unique, so I reached out to Adam to write something original for it. When he sent me the first demo, I was blown away! There was this catchy melody that immediately stuck in your head... it was amazing to work with him and establish such a great connection.

Your work has been supported by big names like David Guetta, Don Diablo, and Kryder. How does it feel to have your music recognized by such influential figures in the music scene?

Nowadays, having support from big names is almost essential because they are the ones who can help take you and your music to the next level. But even so, receiving recognition from such legendary artists is always an incredible source of satisfaction!

You've also been behind some iconic remixes and reinterpretations, like your recent single on Insomniac with "Jumpin Jumpin". What are the biggest challenges when reinterpreting a famous track, and what inspires you to take these creative risks?

When working on a reinterpretation, it’s not always easy because taking an iconic song and trying to elevate it requires a lot of creativity. However, when I choose to remix a track, it’s because the original song gives me strong emotions, and I want to pass those emotions along while making it my own. The first step is usually to find something that can serve as a strong hook, like a bassline, rhythm, or melody. The most challenging part is often the structure because you have to work with the vocals, but it can result in a track that’s easier to play, yet still recognizable thanks to the original sample.
